Alfred Hitchcock’s favorite cigar is the Montecristo cigar. He was seen multiple times by different people smoking them. As a matter of fact, Hitchcock mailed Montecristo cigars from Hollywood to his friends in the UK during the Second World War since they were still unavailable in England, according to Havana House.

The Montecristo is not just a cigar; it’s a legend. For the past 100 years, the Montecristo cigars have been a favorite of many a smoker and described by many as one of the best smokes in all of Cuba.

The majority of the blend in this cigar is mild, smooth, and has a sweet flavor, making it perfect for beginners or anyone who likes mild smoking. It mostly consists of a blend of sweet and creamy tobacco that will make you want to take another drag.

While it was unknown which of the Montecristo collection Hitchcock smoked, one we can recommend is the Montecristo No. 4, which is a favorite of many.

In terms of flavor, the Montecristo No. 4 is mildly tobacco-flavored with hints of coffee, chocolate, and vanilla that are all expertly balanced with one another. The last third of the cigar will have the most assertive spice flavor; the cigar also has a light cedar flavor. Unquestionably, it offered full-bodied flavors throughout.

The Montecristo No. 4 cigar is also the one Che Guevara, an Argentinean Marxist revolutionary, smoked. The cigar is undoubtedly tightly packed and has a lovely appearance. The smooth, greasy Connecticut Broadleaf leaf is veined all throughout.

The smoke’s silky wrapping gives it subtle, creamy undertones. Given its diminutive size, it will undoubtedly be a short smoke with a consistent draw and burn throughout.
