Appearance of Liga Privada Unico Serie Nasty Fritas

The Liga Privada Unico Serie Nasty Fritas cigar deviates from the usual cylindrical shape we find in cigars. This one has a pretty odd form that starts narrow and pointed at the top before gradually thickening near the foot. It almost has a reverse cigar aspect to it.

This cigar has a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper that gives it a nasty look, hence its name. Also, the color is kind of off since, aside from its shape; it gives an impression of looking like poop. It also has very thick and visible veins.

The “Nasty Fritas” word is the only thing on the cigar band, and it is printed in all capitals in a navy blue typeface in the center. The band has blue accents throughout its white base color. Nothing unique is emerging from the band.

Smoking Experience

Right away, after lighting the Liga Privada Unico Serie Nasty Fritas cigar, the two dominant flavors that emerge are black coffee and leather, which are wonderfully balanced. This might not be for you, though, if you don’t like potent smoking cigars because it would first leave a powerful impact. I also tasted a spice in the back of my throat, but it was not overpowering; it was tolerable. Additionally, it emits a tremendous amount of smoke, for which the Drew Estate brand is well renowned.

The Liga Privada Unico Serie Nasty Fritas cigar continues to release a ton of smoke during the first third of my smoking. With regard to its flavor profile, it is now beginning to unleash other characteristics, such as sweetness, which wonderfully balances dark coffee and leather. The spice is still present, but it has gained a little amount of power. It’s a good thing the sweetness is beginning to show up to balance everything out because else, this cigar would be far too overpowering for me. This is something for you if you’re seeking a cigar that is compact but powerful.

The Liga Privada Unico Serie Nasty Fritas cigar’s ash fell off after the second third, although it performed a fantastic job holding it throughout the first third. Along with producing a lot of smoke, the cigar’s structure is excellent, and it burns well. The sweetness has moved to the forefront of the flavor profile, balancing out the coffee and leather. In addition, the spice is gradually receding. My enjoyment and appreciation of it have recently improved. The tastes blend well together, making them excellent.

The Liga Privada Unico Serie Nasty Fritas cigar is starting to get too hot as I smoke the last third of it. I genuinely have a hard time using my fingers to pinch it. But for its flavor profile, this part has a lot of intensity that is beginning to linger. Simply told, the complete taste bundle is still there and unaltered. Rich notes of dark coffee, leather, sweetness, and a tinge of spice can be found in this cigar, which is entirely consistent. I was surprised to find out this one is as spectacular as it is.

Truth be told, I don’t have high hopes for this one. I didn’t anticipate this to do very well in terms of tastes and structure. It gives rich tastes continuously, without any taste transitions or shifts. Despite having a basic flavor profile—just black and strong—I truly enjoy this one. Something that I would repurchase and smoke in the cold season.

Overall

Overall, the Liga Privada Unico Serie Nasty Fritas cigar is a great cigar. It is full-bodied and packed with flavor. The dark coffee and leather flavors are the dominant flavors in the Liga Privada Unico Serie Nasty Fritas.

The sweetness is an excellent complement to the coffee and leather, and it provides a bit of balance to the cigar. The hint of spice is present in the background and adds a bit of depth to the flavor profile. It may be a weird-looking cigar, but it would definitely give you a great smoking experience.

The cigar also has a great burn and produces a lot of smoke. The draw is effortless, and the cigar is well-constructed. The flavors are well-balanced and linger on the palate.

So if you’re looking for something to smoke in the Liga Privada brand, this is something I recommend. Also, considering its price point, you’re getting a lot for what you’re paying for. From its flavor profile to its flavor consistency, up to its performance in terms of construction, this one hits the spot.

Moreover, this is the perfect smoke for those looking for something a little bit different and are sure to enjoy the unique blend of flavors that the Nasty Fritas offers.

Ambrosia

Ambrosia takes the art of blending premium tobacco a notch higher. The cigars start with the traditional Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos, a signature of Drew Estate. These are blended into the four front marks that showcase Sumatra, Cameroon, and Connecticut wrappers. What gives Ambrosia its unique taste and aroma are the native spices from South Asia and Europe. Regardless of the type of Ambrosia cigar you have, you have to prepare yourself for explosive exotic flavors. Every Ambrosia stick is aged for four months after it is rolled. This will enable the highest-quality Nicaraguan tobaccos to soak up all the rare spices.

Featuring an Ecuador Habano wrapper and a blend of Indonesian and proprietary fillers, this cigar has quickly become a favorite go-to, especially the Toro variety, with its sweet, peppery, and earthy notes complemented by hints of honey and salt. Despite being a fuller-bodied smoke, its balance and smoothness make it approachable without being overwhelming. The performance of the Puros Huérfanos from start to finish is impressive, with consistent ash and a creamy aftertaste, despite some minor challenges in keeping it lit towards the end. CAO Pilon Robusto

The CAO Pilon Robusto Extra offered an engaging symphony of full-flavored profiles and a delightful surprise of sweetness amidst the expected spiciness. This beautifully constructed cigar, adorned with an oily Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, unveils a complex array of flavors, from the initial woodsy and vanilla notes to the tartness of green grapes, accompanied by rich undertones of sweet cocoa and spicy black pepper. The meticulous Cuban pilon fermentation method employed has evidently elevated the blend, achieving a full-bodied strength that harmoniously intensifies throughout the smoke. Its slow-burning quality and evocative aroma contribute to a luxuriously extended smoking experience, one that culminates in a savory and sweet finale with a subtle peppery zing. For a cigar that presents such an impeccable balance and a seamless transition of flavors, it’s no wonder it has earned praise and a 90-point rating, cementing its stature in my collection and prompting a definite intent to revisit.
