In 2002, the Padron 1926 cigar line debuted in honor of José O. Padrón’s 75th birthday. Every tobacco product in this range has been matured for a full five years. The Padron 1926 Serie No. 35 Maduro wrapped cigars are created with an extraordinarily full-bodied, rich, balanced, and creamy tobacco for the finest flavor and complexity.
It is the perfect quick smoke, with notes of rich chocolate, cocoa, pepper, spice, coffee, and that distinctive creaminess found in all Padron cigars. This cigar is full-body strong, which makes it “small but ppowerful.”

Appearance of Padron 1926 Serie No. 35 Maduro
First things first, the Padron 1926 Serie No. 35 Maduro features a semi-box press and a really nice medium-dark brown color wrapper. The wrapping is quite toothy and contains some oils. This cigar had a somewhat rough cap.
The first band in this has their famous “Padron” written in cursive and set on a maroon-like backdrop to complement its gold lettering. Along with the word “serie,” it also has the number “1926” inscribed on it. For authenticity reasons and to prevent fake copies, the second band displays their usual serial numbers.
This cigar, which is quite little in length, looks classy when held in the hand. The tobacco is really well-pressed and solid. The wrapper has some veins that are evident, and the tightly packed nature of the cigar is apparent.
Smoking Experience
The cigar has a fantastic aroma that grabs your attention right away. The cold draw tastes strongly of chocolate. It also has espresso, which intrigues me. The cigar emits a strong flavor as soon as it is ignited. It contains some good, leathery pepper that isn’t overbearing. The cold draw’s chocolate and espresso flavors did really come through. From the outset, it appears as though the strength is actually medium to full.
After the first third, there is a strong chocolate taste followed by a decent spice, notably in the retro-hale. A deep, earthy, coffee taste profile is also present, as is typical of most Padron cigars. Additionally, the wrapper is extremely toothy; it is not silky smooth but is quite greasy.
Although the second third is merely a quick smoke, the taste notes already have strong black pepper and earthy characteristics. All Padron cigars still have the signature creaminess and coffee flavors. It has a medium draw, making it rather good. It is a full-body cigar with a moderate strength that is just starting to kick in. It even has an excellent, clean ash if you’re particular about it.
The taste notes were quite steady until my last third, although the espresso flavor notes emerged. It smokes quite good. This is mostly due to the concentration of smoke towards the cigar’s end, which makes the draw a little bit difficult. The burn is superb, and the aroma is what you’d expect from a cigar. It is obvious that it won’t be a long smoke because it’s a little cigar. I finished mine in 40 minutes, but it still depends on how quickly you smoke.
Overall
Overall, it’s a superb cigar with notes of creamy, chocolate, pepper, coffee, and cocoa. It has a lot of taste, and the flavors I adore are already there at the beginning. Even if there won’t be much of a taste transition there since it’s difficult to do so and given the cigar length, it will be pretty much the same, but the fact that the flavors started to come through at the beginning is already incredible. Keep in mind that not because it’s small, meaning it’s mild.
The cigar is meant to be a full-body strength, so if you’re new to smoking cigars, this might not be the one for you. However, given its length, you should attempt testing it out to see whether you want to dive into the realm of full-body strength cigars.
To be completely honest, it is actually quite expensive for its size, but if you want a small cigar and already desired a tasty start, then this is the ideal suggestion for you. Additionally, I may suggest this to occasional smokers who only wanted to give themselves a little break and do it by smoking; it’s ideal in such case.

CAO Black Ltd. Bengal
The CAO Black Ltd. Bengal cigar is a well-constructed cigar that features an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper and a blend of fillers from Honduras, Mexico, and Nicaragua. With a medium-strength profile, the cigar offers a unique combination of light and dark flavors, including notes of coffee, graham cracker, earth, citrus, and roasted nuts. While the flavor profile may not be balanced to the reviewer’s liking, with the citrus note standing out as a bit odd in combination with the darker flavors, the cigar still provides an overall enjoyable smoking experience. The construction is solid, with a good draw, even burn, and ample smoke production. For those who enjoy cigars with diverse flavor profiles, the CAO Black Ltd.
