Ernesto Perez-Carrillo, a legendary cigarmaker, has been running the business for 50 years. While he was with General Cigar, he has created cigars from the Little Havana of Miami to that huge factory in the Dominican Republic. He is currently running the La Alianza factory. He has complete control of the factory and this enables him to spend on the creating of any cigar he fancies. He wanted to make a Maduro, but instead of turning to Mexico and Brazil, he went to the US to search for the Connecticut broadleaf. This particular Churchill cigar gives off the right notes of what a quintessential Maduro should be, strengthened by a unique blend of Nicaraguan tobacco which offers a nutty and chocolatey smoke and the warmth of wood in its core.

The E.P. Carrillo Core Plus Maduro Churchill Especial No. 7 is number 23 on Cigar Aficionado’s Top 25 Cigars of 2019 list. The smokes from the E.P. Carrillo Core Line Plus are the highly anticipated flagship cigars of the E.P.C. Cigars. These cigars are known for their balance and flavor. These magnificent cigars build on the success achieved by the original EPC Core Line. Ernesto Perez Carrillo is quite popular for his skills to blend a fine quality cigar. He again brought the magic when he created the main cigar in his own company portfolio. Core Line Plus is one of the cigar series that belong to the classics. This type of cigar is meant for the daily cigar smoker. It’s that cigar that is blended to produce a great mixture of flavor yet will not cost that much.  It has two blends and certainly, there is something for everyone anytime.

Its natural line is a cigar that has an Ecuadorian wrapper and a Nicaraguan binder and filler. The Maduro line is made up of an American Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper with an Ecuadorian binder as well as a Nicaraguan filler.
